In a recent Arts Professional salary survey, the gender gap in the arts sector is greater than the national average, despite the fact that women are better educated.

Canada’s first union agreement for visual artists
CARFAC (Canadian Artists Representation/Le Front des artistes Canadiens) and RAAV (Regroupement des artistes Visuels du Quebec) have signed Canada’s first union agreement for visual artists.
